Ok, are you crying? Because I totally am. How sad for this woman. I hope you read part two about how she found peace and forgiveness from Jesus because without that it really would be just a sad sad story.
The reason I ask you to read it and talk about it with me is because I think the saddest part of the story was how alone she felt. No one was there to give her good advice or to love on her when she needed it most. It just struck me that I hope and pray you girls know that we are here for you...in any circumstance. Even one like this one. We do our best to encourage you not to make these kids of mistakes, but we all fail from time to time. No one is perfect and while I hate the idea of it-you guys will make your own mistakes. I just wanted you to know that you aren't alone. In any situation.
If I found out that you were in big trouble like this that would be one thing. I would be really sad, and maybe discouraged a bit. But that wouldn't compare at all to finding out later you went through something awful and didn't feel like you could tell me about it. When it comes to you girls, that would be the worst thing possible. Just know you can always tell me anything. I am here.
On another note, I have just been poking around her blog and found some great articles on modesty, biblical womanhood and other things. :)
